Lord, give us kingdom understanding make us ready to hear and receive your word to us, your calling upon us, your challenge to live out the gospel in all we are and do. Help me to speak the message with your love & power. Thank you that your word in my heart is like a fire, which I cannot hold in. Lord, help me to listen carefully to you & not be put off by opposition, insults, hostility or ridicule. We your unworthy servants give you humble thanks for all your goodness and loving kindness to us and to all whom you have made.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O God, my strength, my redeemer: You sent your Word to bless the vulnerable, downtrodden, poor, powerless, least, last & lost- help us seek and find your face in theirs. Fill us with your love, and guide us as we follow, that we may bear much fruit for your kingdom, and truly show that we love one another as you love us.
